Dr. Hyung S. Choi is Professor of Physics at CBU since 2022. Before joining CBU, he was Professor of Physics, Chair of the Department of Physics and
Engineering, and the Director of the Quantum Information Lab at Greenville University, Illinois. Dr. Choi was a Visiting Researcher at Oxford University
and at the Institute for Quantum Optics & Quantum Information in Vienna, and a Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University. He received his
B.A. in Physics from Kyung-Hee University and studied Particle Physics at Seoul National University, South Korea. After he came to the United
States, he received M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Physics from Graduate Center of CUNY, and M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Dr. Choi was a
Witherspoon Postdoctoral Fellow at CTNS, Berkeley, and led more than 30 international research projects as Director of Mathematical and Physical
Sciences at the John Templeton Foundation. He has research interest in the foundations of quantum physics, elementary particle physics, and the interface
between science and Christian faith. Dr. Choi has been a life-long member of the YWAM.
